Grace Youth Ministries
CHECK US OUT ON
The Youth Ministry of the Grace Presbyterian Church is committed to help youth have a relationship with Jesus and become more like Jesus. We are here to REACH students with the love of Jesus Christ, CONNECT them to the community of believers, equip them to GROW in their faith, ACT through service, and EXALT God with their lives.
GROW is our word for Discipleship
Discipleship is educating God’s people with His truth.
REACH is our word for Evangelism
Evangelism is communicating the good news of Jesus Christ with those who do not yet have a personal relationship with him.
ACT is our word for Ministry
Ministry is demonstrating God’s love by meeting needs of others with love.
CONNECT is our word for Fellowship
Fellowship is incorporating God’s people into a family where they can be known, cared for, held accountable, and encouraged.
I Corinthians 12:25-27
EXALT is our word for Worship
Worship is celebrating God’s presence and honoring him with our lifestyles.
Grace Youth Ministries is for students grades 6 through 12. 6th-8th grades are called Go MAD (Go Make A Difference) and 9th-12th grades are called FUEL (Faith Used in Everyday Living). They come together for Youth Connection. This meets every Sunday except the fourth Sunday of the month where we split up the age groups.
On the last Sunday of each month things change up:
-FUEL Lunch 12pm-1:30 - This will be a time for High School Youth to get together at someone’s house to share in fellowship and a small devotional time.
-Go MAD 7pm-8:30 - We will be joining several other local youth groups for a time of fellowship at a rotating host church.
-Club 45 – 4pm-5pm – For those in 4th and 5th grades, meets once a month at Grace for games, food, and interactive lesson activities. There are also many other trips, service opportunities and other fun for youth.
SUNDAY SCHOOL is comprised of 2 classes — a Junior High Class for 7th & 8th graders, and a High School Class for 9th – 12th graders. They meet in the classrooms in the Loft from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. every Sunday from September to mid-June.
Our desire is to help young people in our community Grow, Reach, Act, Connect and Exalt in their relationship with Christ. It is our prayer that you/your student will join us and in doing so make these important connections
