Seasoned With Grace is the church’s fellowship group for anyone who considers themselves to be a ”senior.” There is no “membership,” no requirement to “join,” or any obligation to participate. The funds come from voluntary contributions at the event which serve as “seed money” for the next time.
Twice a year the organizers put together a luncheon, usually at Christmas and again in the Spring or early Fall. The Fellowship Room is set to welcome the guests with a theme and lunch is served. There may be two or three people sharing their thoughts with the group on a topic of interest to the seniors or a speaker from the community. It is a good time of sweet fellowship.
Anyone attending can bring a guest to share the occasion. It can be an outreach to a friend, a way to introduce Grace Church to someone looking for a church home, or a welcome social event for someone needing to enjoy the company of other seniors over a nice meal. Seasoned With Grace has been around for a good number of years and hopefully will continue to be a valued asset to the church family.
