*Call to Worship Psalm 31
One: In You, O Lord, we seek refuge. You are our rock- a strong rock to save us.
All: You are indeed our fortress. For your name’s sake, lead us and guide us.
One: Into your hands we commit our Spirit, you have redeemed us, oh faithful Lord!
All: We will rejoice in your steadfast love, you have set our feet on a broad place.
How abundant is your goodness: let us be strong and courageous as we trust and
wait for the Lord!

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

*Hymn 749 “Come! Live in the Light!”
*Affirmation of Faith (in unison) The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
