Prelude, “For the Beauty of the Earth”, Conrad Kocher
*Responsive Call to Worship, Psalm 96:1-9
ONE: Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.
ALL: Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.
ONE: Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
ALL: For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary.
ONE: Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
ALL: Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come into his courts. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.
Opening Prayer
*Hymn 12, “Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise”
Prayer for Illumination
Scripture Reading (In Unison), Exodus 33:13-18
Moses said to the Lord… “Now if I have found favor in your sight, please show me your ways, so that I may know you and find favor in your sight. Consider, too, that this nation is your people.” He said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” And he said to him, “If your presence will not go, do not bring us up from here. For how shall it be known that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people, unless you go with us? In this way, we shall be distinct, I and your people, from every people on the face of the earth.” The Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have asked, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.” Moses said, “Please show me your glory.”
Time with the Children
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
*Passing of the Peace
Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession followed by time of Silent Confession
Lord, we meant to spend time with you this week, so we could renew our Spirit and radiate your love and compassion wherever we went. Lord, forgive us for not being radiant this week, because we either thought we could stay “aglow” on our own merits and strength, or we didn’t prioritize making time and space in our schedule for you. Lord, we are truly sorry and we humbly repent. Silent Confession.
Assurance of Forgiveness
*Glory Be to God in Song, Hymn 582, “Glory to God”
Glory to God, whose goodness shines on me,
and to the Son, whose grace has pardoned me,
and to the Spirit, whose love has set me free.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. Amen.
World without end, without end. Amen. (sing 3 times)

Sermon, The Glory of the Lord is Radiant, Pastor Cindy
*Hymn 475 “Come, Thou Font of Every Blessing”
*Affirmation of Faith(in unison), The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
