It was chilly and blustery on Good Friday when a large group of stalwarts met at Union Congregational Church for a first-ever Grace Church Cross Walk. After hearing Scripture from Pastor Robin the group walked west to Anderson Park and walked a lap around the park, stopping occasionally for further Scripture readings. Some of the walkers then traveled to the manse where they enjoyed a pizza lunch. How exciting it was to have multiple generations of Grace Church families represented for this event!
After the solemnity of Good Friday, pizza notwithstanding, comes the joy of Easter Sunday. We joined with some brave souls from Union Congregational Church for a 6:30 sunrise service at Eagle Rock Reservation, followed by worship in the Chapel at UCC. The most joyful event of the day for some was the Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn in front of the Chapel. Grace Church children take the Easter Egg hunt very seriously!
