Thank you for supporting our missionaries this year!
It has been a difficult year for many of us. Your financial contributions during these challenging times have helped further the spread of the gospel across the globe and our missionaries are most grateful. In these final weeks of 2021, we are asking your help in meeting our financial goal. No gift is too small. May God bless you especially this Advent and Christmas season. Thank you! The ACT Ministry Team
Ken Meyer’s Oasis/Calvary Chapel Vienna Update
Ken Meyer and his family visited Grace over the summer. (They won the prize for the family that traveled the farthest to send their children to our Summer Children’s Church program.) Ken, Michi, Evelyn, and Oliver have returned to Austria and sent an update on their work with Oasis, Calvary Chapel, and International Christian School.
Mary Woodward’s Update from Sevilla
Mary visited the United States this past summer, but was unable to visit Grace before she returned to Spain. She met with members of the ACT team via Zoom, and the conversation was recorded, but it couldn’t easily be distilled into a video that we could put online. Mary also sent an update on her ministry in and around Sevilla.
Janet Balajthy’s Update from InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
Janet Balajthy, Senior Advisor and Consultant with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, provided us with a video update.
Family Promise’s New Shelter Model
Grace Church has been a member of the Family Promise network in Essex County, formerly known as Interfaith Hospitality Network, for many years. Throughout those years Grace members and friends have hosted families who were experiencing temporary homelessness. Families would stay for a week at a time, a couple of times a year, in various rooms in the church building, including the Fellowship Hall. Family Promise is moving away from that rotational shelter model toward a model that places families in single-family apartments or homes. Read the full Family Promise announcement here.
