Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Lord we come to you with a mind, body and spirit full of distractions.
We carry heavy burdens that were meant to be given to you Guilt, fear, shame, worry to name a few…
We are proud and try to live our lives and fix our problems by ourselves. And then we wonder why we are so weary and heavy laden. Let us lay our burdens, our bad choices , our pride and our fear and our exhaustion before you this day, honestly and humbly.
Assurance of Forgiveness

*Hymn “I Surrender All”
All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
Refrain:
I surrender all,
I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.
All to Jesus I surrender,
Humbly at His feet I bow;
Worldly pleasures all forsaken,
Take me, Jesus, take me now. (refrain)
All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine. (refrain)
All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.(refrain)
All to Jesus I surrender,
Now I feel the sacred flame;
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His Name! (refrain)
*Affirmation of Faith The Nicene Creed
We believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, begotten from the Father before all ages, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made; of the same essence as the Father.
Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, and was made human. He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried. The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will never end.
And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life. He proceeds from the Father and the Son,
and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified. He spoke through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church. We affirm one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and to life in the world to come. Amen.
Call to Offering

Alleluia, Alleluia.
Praise him above, ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Prayer of Thanksgiving
Pastoral Prayers concluding with The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Greetings!
As we see the light at the end of the rebuilding tunnel getting brighter and brighter, it is time to gather in small groups and revisit the question:
How is Christ calling Grace Presbyterian Church to meet the needs of the community and the world?
Let us prayerfully and faithfully gather over supper at the Manse and discuss this critical question. God did not rebuild this church structure to be on the historical tour or to be a community show piece, but instead to be a place that facilitates encounters with Jesus Christ: where spiritual, physical, and emotional needs are met.
We hope you will come to one of the Prayer, Listening and Supping sessions which will be held:
Wednesday June 4th, 11th and 18th, 5-7 PM at the Manse, 63 Tuxedo Rd. It will be a Pot Trust Dinner.
Please sign up on the sheets in the back foyer of the church or on the coffee hour table; sign up on the signup genius link; or email PastorCindy@GraceMontclair.org to reserve a seat for a day and time that works for your schedule. We will add other sessions as needed. Children and youth are welcome and encouraged to attend.
