This meeting of crafters takes place on a Saturday afternoon in the Fellowship Hall, every three or four months. Everyone brings a craft project they are working on and then spends a couple of pleasant hours working alongside other makers. The art represented so far has included painting, collage, knitting, embroidery, cross-stitch, beading, sewing, and even mending! At each meeting we have also collected food and feminine supplies to give to local charities. The motivation for starting these gatherings was the hope that both Grace members and those in the community could think of our church as a welcoming space, where they could enjoy the satisfaction of sharing their creativity with other people. We hope to hold the next meeting in May.
