Apropos of the theme of discernment and growth, few things require greater discernment or offer more opportunities for growth than graduating from high school or college and moving on to the next chapter in one’s young life.
Justin Ashbrook
Justin Ashbrook graduated in 2021 from Berklee College of Music, where he majored in music business. He is establishing a marketing business in Portland, Maine.
Jimmy Daidone
Jimmy graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Construction Management. He enjoyed his time at MSU and the friends he made — especially his Handball Team buddies! Informed sources report that ultimately he is a “Jersey boy,” so he is looking for employment here in NJ. He is actively seeking a career in the Construction Management field. The Daidone family thanks all of our Grace Church family for their loving support throughout Jimmy’s time in MO.
George Du Laney
George graduated magna cum laude from Calvin University with an Honors BS in Chemistry with a minor in Latin and a BA in Classical Studies. George will be pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at Cornell University.
Madeline Depue
Madeline graduated from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, with a major in Elementary Education. She plans on finding an elementary-school teaching position.
Christian Depue
Christian graduated from American University in Washington, DC with a major in Political Science and a minor in Economics. He is currently interviewing for roles within public policy and will be living in Washington. Christian greatly appreciate all the prayers and support from the Grace Church Family.
Timothy Depue
Timothy graduated with a BA in Communication Studies from Charleston Southern University. He will continue to study at Charleston Southern University and work towards a master’s degree in Management.
Isabella Mattingly
Isabella graduated from New Jersey City University with a BS in Biology and a minor in Music.
She will be attending graduate school at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, pursuing a Masters of Science in Modern Human Anatomy. Currently, she is working and applying to medical schools for their MD-PhD programs. “I’m not certain what exact field I’d like to go into yet, but it absolutely involves a mixture of surgery and research.”
She and her fiancé, Michael Stevens, are planning a wedding for August 20, 2023, in Morrison, CO.
Katelyn Saunders
Katelyn graduated from Bloomfield High School in 2020 and will be a sophomore at Montclair State University in the fall of 2022. She was on the Dean’s List both semesters in the 2021–2022 academic year.
Kimberly Saunders
Kimberly graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2019 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Psychology at New York University.
Anna Sullivan
Anna graduated from Glen Ridge High School, where she participated in concert band, jazz band, pep band, marching band (drum major in 2020 and 2021), bowling, feminist club, and Spanish club and was in the drama production Mamma Mia! as well as the Talent and Fashion Shows as a member of the Girls’ Club of Glen Ridge.
Anna will be attending Lehigh’s College of Arts and Sciences where her interests are Sociology, Women’s and Gender Studies, Psychology, and Cognitive Behavior. She has been honored to receive the Snyder Marching Band scholarship from Lehigh University, and Anna will join the Lehigh Marching 97 this coming fall.
Molly Sullivan
Molly graduated from Glen Ridge High School in 2020. Although she was accepted to the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, she decided to attend Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida because they are number 1 in computer animation.
Molly received a merit scholarship from Ringling College as well as a scholarship from the Glen Ridge Art Patrons Association and a visual studies award from Glen Ridge High School. She was also President of the GRHS Art Honor Society.
