Our assignment is to find a permanent pastor to lead and walk with our congregation to reach the goals listed in our mission statement.
There are several steps in the process of calling a pastor. It begins when the leaving pastor resigns and ends with the installation of a new pastor.
The steps break down into four stages:
- Training of the PNC members
- Preparation: job description, needs of our congregation, and so forth
- Interviewing and choosing
- Installation of new pastor
Presently we are on the preparation step.
